The Royal Gorge, Colorado.

Royal Gorge
The bridge, which was built in 1929 and is the highest in the world, carries both pedestrians and vehicles. It is 1,053 feet above the Arkansas River. The (ex) D&RGW mainline follows the river below. There is a suspended cable car across the gorge from the spot where this picture was taken. Also, an incline railway takes you down to an observation platform beside the track and river.
